Hi, I’m Katie and I finally started Homeward Bound Pet Services in August 2017 after dreaming about it for what felt like a life time, and I've never looked back! In the process of creating Homeward Bound I quickly realised what our two main priorities would be - safety and personalisation. A pet care experience being catered around exactly that...the pet! this is why you will notice a one on one approach at the heart of the services we offer. Creating a place where YOUR dogs needs are met and accommodated for rather than that of the groups, where cats can stay home in their favourite bed rather than having to adjust to a cattery kennel and where instructions are strictly followed for aquatic and furry small animals during home visits while owners are away.

I'm overwhelmed with the amount of support we get, and how lucky we are to keep meeting such wonderful pet owners who entrust us with their pets and homes on a daily basis! Personally, my days consist of dog walks, cat visits, small animal visits and all the behind the scenes admin to keep things running smoothly here at HWB! after a busy day I then get to come home to my two beautiful cats Erik and Noodles, always a perfect way to end my day.

HWB only assigns pet carers who are fully insured with an up to date pet first aid qualification and kit. Who only use equipment and methods in line with Homeward Bound's ethics and moral code with animal welfare as a top priority.

Zoë - Pet Carer

Hi I'm Zoë and I joined the Homeward Bound team in 2024. I have experience working both in rescues and within an animal hospital and now will be joining HWB after being a client myself since 2018!

I'm so excited to build relationships with your pets, treating them with the exact same love and care that I treat my own. Having been a client, I understand just how important it is to have someone you trust taking care of your furry family members without worry.

At home I currently have three gorgeous rescue cats called Juniper, Gilly and Grimm - they mean everything to me. I previously have adopted 15 cats requiring end of life support, care and love - it's the most rewarding experience to have had all these little old souls pottering around my home.

I can't wait to meet you and your pets!
